Jennifer Brazelton was born in Arizona and received her BA and MFA from San Francisco State University in the early 2000’s.
Through ceramic sculpture, Brazelton explores the unity and interconnectedness of the world around her. She uses the macro and the micro to accentuate harmonic visual patterns and parallels, reminding the viewer of their connection with nature and their environment. She strives to create pieces that pulse with life and emotion that the viewer can easily interact with.
Jennifer lives in San Francisco with her husband and maintains a studio in Oakland. She teaches art courses at California State University, East Bay; Merritt College and at the Richmond Art Center.
