Painting and Ceramic Workshops

EFFECTIVE 2/17: Participants will need to bring their own paints, canvas and tools to painting workshops; clay will be provided for ceramics. All workshop cancellations must be made within 24 hours of event for credit (credits are towards future workshops only).

Artists Career Day - (Updated)

With John Natsoulas and Michael Trask and Derek Hunziker, Saturday, May 10th, 2008 1pm - 6pm - $50

Hands on. You will learn how to pack, ship, hang and market your own work. Also, you will learn how to create your own successful portfolio. Bring digital camera, a pen, paper, and 1 piece of your own artwork. For the portfolio, please bring a disc or USB flash drive with 10 or more images of your artwork (including titles and dimentions). Also bring a 2-3 paragraph description of you and your artwork (include any awards or exhibitions).

Hands on mural making workshop. Learn the actual process of making an entire tile mural. Bring your own tools. Everything else will be supplied.

Saturday, May 24th, 2008 1pm - 5pm - $50

Restoration Workshop. Each participant must bring a broken piece to repair. In this hands on ceramics restoration class, participants will learn how to repair the broken piece successfully. All the tricks for the trade will be taught including the technical parts of filling and gluing
